Dr. Liat Rotenstreich is a PhD candidate at the Anatomy and Human Evolution Laboratory at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on the biological basis of facial movements and the comparative anatomy of facial architecture across mammals, integrating anatomical dissections, histology, immunofluorescence, tissue clearing, and viral tracing. In addition to her research, she is actively involved in anatomical education, teaching anatomy to first-year medical students through lectures and anatomical dissection labs.
