Renmart Buhay

Renmart Buhay is a Vancouver based artist and researcher currently working with the research teams at the UBC Emergency Medicine Department. He studied Physiology at Simon Fraser University and completed the Biomedical Visualization and Communication (BMVC) certificate at UBC.

Renmart worked alongside Trixie Rae Adra, Elizabeth Myers, and Victoria Uribe Perez, under the supervision of Sean Jeon, Ishan Dixit, and Kim Campbell to create a 3D animation for midwifery students depicting shoulder dystocia and it's management using the posterior arm maneuver in an all-fours position. This animation will be used as an educational resource for the UBC Midwifery Emergency Skills Program (MESP) curriculum and UBC HIVE clinical anatomy website.
