William S. Brooks, PhD

Will Brooks earned his PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2007 and has been teaching ever since. He is currently Professor and Assistant Dean for Preclinical Education in the Heersink School of Medicine at UAB. His educational roles include teaching gross anatomy to medical students and cancer biology to undergraduate students. His research interests lie in pedagoy in medical education, the shortage of anatomists, and disability education.
