Sahra Siyad is a second-year medical student at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University. She has a strong interest in health equity, community engagement, and patient-centered care. Sahra's academic and research interests include healthcare access, consent and decision-making, and improving health outcomes for marginalized populations. Beyond her academic pursuits, Sahra is actively involved in advocacy and leadership roles within her community, including working with refugee populations, housing cooperatives, and healthcare equity initiatives.
