My name is Gabriel Davis and I am 3rd year Doctoral Candidate in Anatomy at the Penn State College of Medicine. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and earned my master’s in Human Anatomy at the University of Dundee in Scotland. I currently work with Dr. Browning in a lab focused on the gut-brain axis, particularly within a Parkinsonian model. My personal interest is in study the hallmarks and progression of Lewy Body Dementia within said model. I plan on pursuing a career as an Anatomy Professor and have garnered significant experience in teaching undergraduate, medical, and physician assistant students in both lecture and cadaveric dissection environments during my time at PCOM. I am currently an adjunct professor at Dickinson College running their cadaver lab.
